OUR STORY
MOCHI is a small and innovative design studio deeply rooted in the mountains of Niskeo. Our focus is on collaborating with emerging hotels and resorts, connecting with visionary individuals to create distinctive, unforgettable, and expressive creative that help them establish themselves as cutting-edge companies in the dynamic Japan market.
MOCHI was founded in 2013 by Ryan McKay and Michi Kiyomoto as response to the increased demand for world class design and marketing services in Hokkaido from foreign hotel groups resort operators. MOCHI was formed to deliver best in class creative using the decades of experience in global advertising networks and luxury branding studios across Singapore, London, Sydney, Bangkok and Japan. Their vision was to create a branding agency of international caliber, that could leverage its local Japanese knowledge and global creative network to deliver exceptional results for clients.
